Fusion Setup

1. Insert the disk and run the Installation script.
2. When install is complete, reboot the Amiga.
3. Copy the Mac ROM file to Fusion:ROM Images directory.
4. Run the Fusion_Launcher to configure Fusion.

5. Agreement

Click the 'I agree to the licensing terms above ' to start using Fusion.

6. Memory

Memory

Use the slider for Chip or Fast RAM to allocate memory for use with Fusion.

7. Video

Video

Select the appropiate driver for use with Fusion for graphics. Use those starting with 'ami' for Amiga Native modes
or 'p96' for graphic card users using Picasso 96 drivers. Cybergraphics users will need to use the cgx drivers.

8. Floppy

Floppy

Select which drives you wish to use with Fusion, high density drives are recommended for Fusion. Use
Excluse mode if you don't want to share it with AmigaOS.

9. Devices

On the screen you can specify either a partition or a hard file (for example, MSHardFile0) to store your
Mac software on. Use at least 20Mb or more for your hard file to allow room for MacOS and applications.

10. Ports

Select which ports for Fusion match with the Amiga hardware. You can use built in ports as above or use
faster 3rd party ports and specify the correct drivers from Devs.

11. ROM Image

You need to supply a Mac ROM image (512K or 1024K) to use with Fusion. A utility is supplied to grab
a ROM image from any 68K Mac.

12. Sound

Here you can specify what sound chip or card to use to play sounds. You can also specify a startup sound
when MacOS boots like the real thing.

13. Peripherals

Here you can specify what additional hardware to use such as CD ROM drives, ADB ports, SCSI peripherals
such as Scanners, SCSI disks, Zip disks etc and Network cards.

CD-ROM

You can specify the IDE or SCSI CDROM drive on this screen (or you can specify it in the SCSI section, but
do not use both!). HFS/PC is the normal CD file system used on Macs to read CDs.

ADB

In most cases you can just accept the default Standard ADB driver for keyboard mouse access.

SCSI

Here you can specify additional SCSI hardware to use with Fusion, you need to set which Unit numbers
to use for each device and the device drivers from Devs.

Network

You can specify the driver for your network card to talk to other computers, if you have one installed.

14. Advanced

You can specify additional information here about your setup. Use the defaults for most cases.

15. Configuration

Click Save Configuration to save all the settings you have made. You can have as many different configurations
as you like depending on your Amiga, MacOS, Hardfile etc. The 'Delete PRAM' button can be used if your
Mac does not boot or has a problem with its date/time etc.
